Leg-Length Discrepancy
Differences between the lengths of the the upper and/or lower legs are called limb length discrepancies. It is not unusual for people to have a sight discrepancy between the length of the left and right leg. However, a significant difference in the lengths of each leg can cause problems with walking, balance, back pain. Sometimes surgical correction is necessary. There are some foot care products that can help those with limb length discrepancies. A heel lift or a lift added to the shoe can often improve these problems as well as help alleviate back pain caused by the limb length discrepancy.
